BA really needs to do something.

On shorter routes, in particular, no one wants to check in luggage. A wait time for bags of up to 30 minutes, for a flight of say an hour and a half, is unacceptable. Plus, the hand baggage only fares and generous allowance are just exacerbating the problem.
