I was in Chicago for something else last weekend and didn't know they moved the festival back a weekend and the festival was moved to Halsted. Decent crowd but not too bad that you couldn't move around. I wanted to go back for the concert at 8 but then they got hit with rain.

I have gone to the parade in the past and have always had fun but too many people. The one year we went into sidetrack and watched their live feed and I'd recommend doing that if you are planning on going out after. We got to see everything and had a place by the bar when the crowds started to come in as soon as the parade ended.

It's too bad about the crime on the Belmont side of Boyztown. Seeing how much the gays improved that area and all the businesses and taxes those improvements brought in to the city, I'd think the police and city would have worked hard on combating the crime.
