The Amfleet I Business Class cars with 2x2 seating actually have significantly more comfortable seating than Coach on the same trains, so no, they are not the exact same. The seat has an adjustable footrest as well as greater recline and leg/knee room. Seat pitch is 46" vs. 39" and the car has 62 seats instead of 72. The non-alcoholic beverages, while small in size, are unlimited from the cafe car (until they run out) and include coffee, tea, juice, bottled water, and soft drinks. The attendant will often give you two at a time if you ask, which equates to a greater number of ounces per trip to the cafe car than if you purchased a single can. The bathrooms in the car also stay cleaner due to less traffic.

Wow I had no idea, when I've taken the Carolinian in Business Class it's always felt the same as coach and the last time I took it (June, 2013) there were no adjustable footrests.
