If the baby wasn't with you then the rules are pretty clear at CDG. It isn't allowed. I think the rules are pretty clear. I looked it up on the airport site and to me it's very explicit.
The question as to whether it's right or wrong is a totally different one, but the text I quoted is crystal clear.
