Not entirely true, if something happened to AC189 (inbound from LHR as AC189) the 319 could very well be called in to operate it...

Thats the thing of coming to and Embraer base; we see very few 319/320's (all to YYZ or YVR) so there are usually never any sitting at the gates.

And in my example above, a downgrade from a 767 to a 319 would be hard (but not impossible); a downgrade to a E90 will not happen.

You should be fine, but there is always a chance

For what its worth, 889 has an excellent track record.
