I have always had the points plus breakfast in the restaurant.
I think it normally opens at 07:00 although I don't use the lounge for breakfast, I haven't seen anyone manning a desk in the lounge when I have been there.
I've also always received points and eaten breakfast in the restaurant. I can be hectic in there, but there's no comparison in food choices.
The only time I've seen someone at the lounge desk is in the evening.
