Hi,

I am planning to book 2 one way AA award tickets probably on Etihad, the first one from IAH to DEL. For this, I have to clear customs/immigration at BOM and take a connecting flight in a few hours to DEL.

But, if my travel plans change, I might have to stay at BOM for a few days and not take the connecting flight to DEL. I know that missing a leg would invalidate the rest of the ticket. But, since this is a one way ticket ending in DEL, would be there any impact to my other one way ticket from BOM to IAH?

I am hoping it would not impact and this is the reason, I am booking 2 one way tickets instead of a round trip ticket.
