Hopefully this is right thread. I booked an apartment in Rome through TripAdvisor early June. Two weeks after we ended our stay our security deposit has still not been refunded. I spoke to the apartment owner about the issue and he explained that TripAdvisor holds the deposit. I emailed TripAdvisor requesting the deposit but they have not responded. I have also tried to reach TripAdvisor by phone but have been unable connect to a person.

Does anyone know how long it normally takes for TripAdvisor to return deposits, have a phone number that connects to a person or have other advice on how to get my deposit back.
