You'll need to check the fare conditions of the ticket you bought. The 24-hour rule is norm only in the US.

You'll also need to factor in the service fee that EY charges on top of the fare penalties which seems to be 20USD according to this http://www.etihadairways.com/sites/e...Ticketing.aspx
