Wife and I are on a trip together this weekend. She's on a separate reservation. I've already been upgraded on both flights.

United won't add her to the companion upgrade list because our tickets were booked separately. (Some of the rudest customer service I've experienced in recent memory, but that's for a different post.) Any way to get her on that list?
