Precisely. And generally they're only going to have a few gates anyway. So it'll probably only have to go a few hundred feet. Plus, since there are so few transfer bags, yours will probably get much better attention than the thousands upon thousands that pass through a hub each day. So if anything, the odds of it being lost or delayed probably decrease quite a bit.
