I'll be in MIA next month, and thought I'd use some of the time to achieve Diamond status on Gol, in the hopes that they are soon incorporated into SkyTeam. I'll be just about 3k miles short by end of Aug, and DL counts for status in Gol's Smiles program.

Flights from MIA (and FLL, PBI) seem very expensive during that time. Tried loads of city pairs, and the best I could find was $310 MIA-JFK at 14cpm. Are there any city pairs which tend to be cheaper from MIA or FLL? Can travel internationally if need be, and obviously wouldn't mind accumulating more than the required 3k, so long as the spend is capped around the $300 mark.

Can travel between Jul 21-23, staying a night or two (if an interesting destination).
