And the design enables you to step from check in to boarding in about, oh, 20 paces or so. None of this traipsing 2,8 km across a vast terminal.
The whole 20 paces from plane to kerb thing is cool I have to admit, but its just so odd. I'm interested whether there is anywhere else out there that is so strange.

but the the very un-German problems with BER mean we're stuck with it for now.
I do find that quite funny, given the German's reputation for efficiency et al!
