I'm sitting in the lounge at TXL at the moment having tried, twice, to navigate this place and gotten completely lost. What's with the whole boarding next to check in thing? Why is the airport circular? Why is the lounge somewhere else entirely? Why is the whole terminal only about 50ft wide?

So is there a weirder-designed airport out there? Whoever designed this one clearly didn't expect people to actually use it because the joint boarding/check-in/departures/arrivals is a complete zoo.
