Well, CX got the best cabin crew award last year. Their new seat is also quite nice and the storage area back of the seat is excellent. The only and biggest problem with the seat is the legroom. I feel uncomfortable even I am just 1m74 and super slim. The other thing is that CX ignore the status onboard or doesn't treat them friendly enough, even they do. Cabin crews do it as a part of their take off preparation.

If you are transiting at Doha for 4 hours without lounge access, or before their lounges are operated. They wouldn't be fun at all. The airport has no public seating space and all the seats are gated inside the hold room and is only opened during boarding. You will need to spend you time in duty free.

A332 last year? Do you mean the old one or the classic one? Because QR is currently operating 3 versions in total. The location of IFE control determines the version. Classic IFE are inside the armrest and can be taken out. Olds are on the side and set there.

I guess the new A332 is serving HKG regularly. Otherwise they wouldn't promote it on HK website. If you end up in Older A332, that would be their fault in advertising.

I don't think it is possible to switch to B787 on HKG. If they do, OneWorld will have no F seats on this route. It is very possible for them swapping to Emirates with suites or the uprising Etihad.
