Given BA's aggressive fleet renewal plan, the age of current aircraft and considerably better fuel economy of newer airframes, coupled with a capacity pinch, it's probably neither cost-effective more a good use of scarce airframes to take them out of service for a significant upgrade with only 5-10 years left of life in the airframe.
