It may simply be that that particular plane is being removed from service for change over.

If I understand correctly there will be 30 ish Airtran planes on 12/28 including 15-18 717's and 12-15 737s remaining with the last official Airtran flight. I understand that the 737s will fly as Southwest planes for a few months until their livery (and other systems) can be changed.

I have no information on whether they will retain the Airtran seat configuration, which can be changed much more easily than the paint job.
