Ms'ers getting hit hard these last couple months. One thing after another as more and more find less places to liquidate, stops from getting VGC with an AGC and so forth. cb% dropping, portals not able to give any cb for office supply gc orders and the ms decline continues for more and more. Many new ms'ers who were excited to get into this since the beginning of the year are now facing some dismal setbacks and all out stops. If one is truly dedicated to this hobby they will survive, but margins have been hit and work time to make it all work has increased. There will be more setbacks ahead. Not trying to be a negative nancy, but warning those who are new to be careful, don't get overextended, slow down, make sure you won't lose $ doing this and make sure you can spend what you get somehow. Portals will face some slow down in purchase orders this summer, that's for sure (unless one or two get more aggressive for more business). We serious ms'ers tend to have family members who do portal shopping beyond card orders, but only frequent those that also promote good cb on Amex orders. We are big spenders and bring our business to those we like and get used to. Maybe things will improve this fall, but maybe some of us will take a break this summer to enjoy the fruits of our labor.
