I can sense your enthusiasm re the collecting of Avios and hopefully they will be rolling in soon

One other way also worth considering is booking cheap flights in economy, or splashing out a little more on WT+ the latter of which are upgradeable to CW (assuming there is availability) It can almost be a self sufficient system and 3 WT+ trips would almost take you to Silver. This is what I am doing at present given I am on budgets.

Good value is also considering using your Avios for example in the Far East and fly in that region for next to nothing taxes. i.e CX F from Hong Kong to Japan (HND) is 37,500 miles one way, HKG to SYD in CX J for 50k Avios + peanuts etc. etc.

The taxes are very low internally and from the US too and can be used on Oneworld flights. A revenue ticket is not compatible with an Avios ticket though, something to bear in mind so they are in effect separate bookings.

There are lots of excellent Widgets in the main BA Sticky but feel free to post away and ask etc.

Please don't feel the need to apologise if you don't understand some parts. (assuming you have done a wee search first before posting any questions )

This time next year you will be a Millionaire................ (Avios wise )
