This just happened to me!! I booked 2 one-way Standard Awards for my Husband & son to fly Business DEN to BDL. DEN to IAD was a 3-Class 777... Anyway, the day BEFORE they were to fly Home 2 Saver seats OPENED up!!!! I got 50,000 miles back. It was Father's Day weekend and she charged me NO Fees at All!!! Good Luck.
