I have approx. 180K of Aeroplan points. Ideal situation would be to fly business class but know that is highly unlikely. Can anyone provide some advice on how to leverage Aeroplan points to maximum for this? Looking today appeared to be 120,000 points and about $1,300 in taxes and surcharges.
Other question, I believe I saw somewhere that you are allowed one stopover for a full day that would count as a layover and wouldn't cost more points? If someone can provide guidance on that it'd be appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Well, if you don't mind paying the $410/person scamcharges, you can get 2 seats in business on the non-stop FCO-YYZ AC flight for your return date.
Going is the challenge. I'm with run&fly, look at cities other than Venice and take the train. Milan, Bologna, Rome, even Zurich are possibilities.
