You can certainly walk airside between T1 and T2 (and back). Some T2 gates in the T2B satellite are actually used for T1 departures. I'm not sure if you can pass through security at the "wrong" terminal, I've read somewhere that you can't, so as to be consistent with the policy at the other terminals.
