Some cards get the 5x bonus when you buy at drug stores or office supply places, so keep buying gift cards there. But then you offload the cards into your own bank account. Yes, there's the processing fee. I've seen it as low as 1.5% for in store transactions.

And if you are just trying to ring up purchases to get the new card bonus and don't care about the 5x, make purchases on that card into your merchant account. The money would go right into your account within a couple days.

seems too easy? What am I missing?
