But what are you waiting for? A sale is the only thing that might reduce prices. BA do not normally reduce fares as the flight draws near - the reverse is usually the case - lower fare buckets sell out and advance purchase requirements pass pushing up the price.

Minimal flexibility bought well in advance is normally the cheapest option.
