For a day flight I would welcome a 2.30pm departure, ensuring that I do not need to get up early and can spend some time eating and dining in the lounge, as well as exploring the airport, before-hand.

On my ideal day flight keeping window blinds up would be mandatory (unless the Sun was shining straight into a passenger's eyes of course) so the cabin would be filled with lovely natural light!

During a six to nine hour service departing in the afternoon the main meal would be served four to six hours into the flight, just in time for dinner at the point-of-origin and giving time to watch some movies, listen to music, walk around the aisles and read first.

The meal would obviously be a pig meal (PGML) starting with pork scratchings substituted for nuts and with porky delights for subsequent courses. The pre-dinner drink would be a full-fat Coke with ice and a slice of orange and during dinner I would have sparkling water with a slice of lime. After dinner I would enjoy a Meukow XO cognac and a selection of rose and violet creams.

The crew would be entirely made up of beautiful Filipinas and they would all flirt with me but not any other passengers.

Oh, and the Captain would invite me onto the flight deck to sit in the jump seat during landing.

PS - the icing on the cake would be if somebody else was paying for it!
PPS - the flight should be homeward-bound at a time when I have no further work to do for a week or two afterwards!
