I havent used the cash back deals that Bank of America offers on the Cash Rewards card much but from the way I understand it you just choose the vendor and then use the card there to earn the cashback.

They have an offer right now for 10% cash back at Kmart up to $150 cash back.

Does Kmart sell visa gift cards? Anyone with exprience as to weather or not this would earn the cash back?
