Below is an example of what I was able to find in early September 2014 from the Bay Area through DFW to HKG. I believe its also $801 from SFO-LAX-NRT-HKG but that is at around 5.4CPM (I believe) and the NRT-HKG and HKG-NRT segments are on JL with probably no mileage accrual.
Please forgive me if I haven’t listed the best deal out there. I did try to find the best one I could for you all.
In my humble opinion this is one of the best deals I have seen to HK and although it’s not as awesome as that amazing deal on AA from PHL-PVG in Jan/Feb/Mar 2014 as some of you lucky FT’ers took advantage of, I still think this is a pretty good deal. The only problem that I have found with this is that if you do want a one-day turn there might be some very long layovers. The flight I will list below unfortunately has a 22-hour layover at DFW. I couldn't find any same day turns, which would be pretty insane to do anyway.
Hopefully users can find shorter layover times but at about 4.4CPM for an international Asia trip on American's brand new 77W it might be worth it (but that’s a subjective question. For me I love Hong Kong and couldn’t fly there without staying for at least a week).
The earliest date I could find for this deal starts on September 7th with a one-night stay over. The other days were Sept. 8th, 14th, 15th, 21st, 28th or the 29th as your starting outbound dates.

Again, please be aware that there is a 22 hour layover in Dallas before your HKG segment, which might be a good thing if you want to rest up before your long flight to and from HKG!
