Just got charged $100 USD for check-in bicycle transport from DEN-YYZ on UA metal. Was surprised to hear this new charge policy in place. Was passed between four check-in attendants at the empty premier line before the last one informed me of the charge and took my cc.

Haven't paid for bike charges for past few years as MP Gold/Plat, this more recent loss of free bicycle transport is disappointing considering the amount of $/effort spent to achieve status.
