Here are examples for 2 different levels and what they can offer to each type of member.
NOTE: I do not want to deceive anyone, this language is
from 2009. Although the system was little changed in a 2010, IIRC. It was discontinued whatever that first year they offer "elite rewards" was.
And, now we see some anecdotal evidence that they are doing
some version of this again.
Offer to deposit 2 complimentary Systemwide (VP) Upgrades for every 25,000 points earned over 100,000 points in a calendar year. Maximum: 4 systemwide upgrades per year.
This can be given immediately to members who have reached 125,000 or 150,000 YTD points, or it can be offered as an incentive for reaching those goals.
Example:
Executive Platinum member's YTD points are 125,000 - 149,999 points:
Offer 2 complimentary Systemwide (VP) Upgrades and the promise of 2 more if the member reaches 150,000 points by December 31
Note: From January - June, you can award the upgrades based on the YTD points in the previous rather than current year.
This is what the very, very top/best/most valuable EP would be offered:
