After using a simply backpack, which actually does the trick for me, I am really considering buying a RIMOWA trolley. Of course, €369 is a lot, but seeing as it is handluggage and I am therefore the one handling it, it won't really get damaged or scratched after X-flights.

I fly around twice a month for leisure activities. Do you guys believe it would be money down the drain and it would be better to just replace my soft, adidas sports bag, by a big case? And would the extra fabric-compartments as you can see on the link above, are beneficial or not? It would protect the front part of scratches, but might tear more easily
