Or you can take the metro: you need to change to line 2 (direction Aghios Dimitrios) at Syntagma to get to Fix station (just two stops from Syntagma). Or quit the metro at Syntagma and catch the tram.
The tram stop (Kasomouli) is much closer than the metro station to the hotel. The stop is on a curve to the left of the tramline, you need to continue down the rather shabby street to the right as you get off the tram. Google map it and you'll see what I mean.
If you use Fix metro station, follow the tramline down Sygrou Avenue (the very busy road) until you get to the Kasamouli stop. You need to be on the left-hand side of Sygrou (heading down, out of the centre) when you leave the station.
Be very careful of pick-pockets on all trips from/to the airport - but especially so on the metro. It's a honey-pot for thieves, and if they target you they can be quite persistent.
