CO flyers are used to their reservations getting bungled, segments dropping off every now and then, 30-minute phone calls to get simple things fixed, and being told "No" all the time. UA flyers are not.

So I can see how a legacy CO flyer can see the UA of today and wonder why everyone is complaining so loudly. Sure there have been cuts and changes, but it's not that bad, is it?

To the UA flyer, it's been much more radical.
