This is interesting ... when I called I originally asked for row 20 or 21 where they had available seats not marked "preferred", and she would not do it saying it's only for AC elites. I replied that I didn't know, the chart does not show that, and she countered with "but I can offer you row 18". I mentioned I didn't know she could do that since these ARE marked for AC elites. She said sure I can do it, and she did.
