What's your rationale for this? I recently had to redeem 4 RT tickets to attend a funeral, which would have cost $3200 if bought with cash. Instead it cost me 100K AA miles (not counting the 10% rebate from Citi AA Platinum) plus $320 in close-in fees and $250 Citi Exec annual fee.
