We reached out to TD mbna for some clarification on the end of their partnership with Choice Hotels for the mbna Choice Privileges MasterCard to see what happens to those cardholders who have the card or just applied by June 9th to get the larger sign up bonus. The good news is that it looks like you can keep the card until Sep 27 and also get the larger sign up bonus as long you meet the minimum spend by July as was requried int he promotion.
"Choice Hotel customers will have all the same benefits of the program up until the 27th of September. Any regular or bonus points they incur will be added to their account. All customers will receive a notification of the termination by August. This notification will explain the termination and what will be happening to their Choice Hotel points. The notification will also cover the terms and conditions of their new rewards program."
