I tweeted BA the other day saying "Post-contract customer service lines with 0844 numbers have been made unlawful from today. What's your new number?"
Their response was:
The new telephone number is 0344 472 9665 and is advertised on bit.ly/1l8YbgM
Although I can't seem to find any occurrence of that number on their website.
