I wouldn't rule out your TSB Visa Debit card working.

The most important thing will be making sure which ever card you are using does not charge punitive foreign transaction fees, in addition to any FX loading if it is not a EUR card.

Assuming you are a GBP denominated person for everything beyond these expenses, the best card would probably one with no foreign usage fees and no FX load.

I would expect you to pay far less going down this route, than thinking about using prepaid cards at all. (With re-loading fees, 'loaded' FX loading rates, etc)
