Good Life Fitness opened up a big gym in T-1 at YYZ. I've never seen it that busy, and wondered who uses it....I can't think of a gym where the parking would be more expensive!
On the question about the Priority Lounge versus MLL, Over the past 3 years, I've almost always gone to the transborder Priority Lounge. The main reason is that in the morning rush (usually Mondays) the elevator lines for the MLL can be ridiculous, both coming and going.
If I intend to use the MLL, I take the escalator down from security and load the elevator on the lower level to avoid the line-up (which can sometimes be 2-3 elevator cars long). Unfortunately there is no such trick for leaving the MLL.
As others have pointed out, I find the Priority lounge is smaller, less crowded, less busy, and has better food. I generally don't drink in the morning so haven't paid much attention to the alcohol, but have had a glass of mediocre red wine the odd time I'm there late in the day.
The one knock I have on the Priority lounge is that they don't consistently have the Globe and Mail available (though lately they have).
