Not just BA, LX is doing it too. They charge you round EUR 25 more per bag per way from CPH -GVA, if you want 1 pc of check in luggage.

KLM might have just given some brillant idea to SK. They are almost LCC anyway. My IAD to CPH flight had only drinks available for purchase (ok, I got a bottle of water, but there ought to be one drink free).
