As a FB Gold I still get two bags, so I guess the overall difference for our hols is not really anything. We usually take a bag each, I can check them both on my allowance - if we really need a third it's 7.50 euros each way.

But still I feel somewhat dissapointed with KLM for this, after the previous 'enhancements' we have had, we have to pay for seats that were free, we have to pay for bags that were free.. Part of me (why I've no idea!) does like KLM, and from my local airport (LBA) you can connect all over the place. My FB gold gets me into the lounges (for what it's worth), and the service was usually a step up from Ryanair or Jet2.

As KLM align themselves more and more with the LCCs, that difference is getting less and less. LBA has (for now at least) a BA service, and as KLM 'enhances' their product more and more, I get closer and closer to swapping Schipol for Heathrow.
