FTFY. Please give more information as to where you went so I can avoid these places

Pretty much the only things I've consistently used cash for in the last few months I've been here were my Suica card, and arcade games. I haven't been in a single cab in Tokyo that hasn't taken a credit card. Narita might be another animal, YMMV.

(FWIW I've been using an AMEX card)
