Interesting welcome from the Captain on an a380 flight from LAX this week. Goes like this: "welcome on board this BA a380 ladies and gentlemen. We at BA are very proud of this new aircraft and in fact this one you are sitting on is only 2 weeks old. Weighs about 500 tonnes and cost about $400m.....of BA's hard earned money"

If only they had paid a bit more, the divider on my CW seat might have worked....
