A couple things - XM radio not being there is probably the doing of the rental agency.... even the most base 200 comes with XM standard.
If you're looking for a sporty version of this car, you'll want the 200S. It has a firmer suspension, more aggressive transmission, and firmer steering.
Though you don't mention if your car had it, the 200 also has one of the most intriguing AWD systems available right now. When AWD isn't needed, it completely disconnects the rear part of the drivetrain from the transmission on back. This in effect gives you the fuel economy of a FWD car with the traction assurance of an AWD car. On the 200S in sport mode, it can use this same system to direct most of the torque to the rear wheels for a sportier handling experience.
Good luck on finding a rental agency that will carry the 200S! My guess is that no agency is going to pony up the extra cash for a higher trim level.
