...my situation is a little different.

My itinerary:
ALB-DTW-CDG-DEL ($1900)

I can get to Delhi because of Visa issues (my fault). I asked AF I could cancel that last leg (no refund, that's fine). However, they are charging me a hefty $300 penalty just to cancel that last leg.

So my flight, now with one less leg both ways, is $2200.

Does this sound right?
