Add frequent flyer NUMBER at airport- title should say

I have a family member buying my ticket on US Airways. Can I keep my FF number a secret and add it at the airport? Will he see my FF number on his account? He doesn't know I have a FF number with US Airways because he never asked and I wouldn't give it to him if he did ask.
