I have Star and OW status so I steer clear of ST airlines if at all possible so can't offer much opinion on AF.

Frankly, if you are flying Economy TATL, I'd go with a mixture of price and duration.

AC seems to have the quickest connection for LAX-YYZ-LIS. Fare pretty cheap and this journey also has the benefit (well IMO) of breaking the journey into two slightly more bearable chunks (i.e. YYZ-LIS is only just over 7 hours).

Otherwise, if you are looking for an A380 option, then BA via LHR.
