I'm a new SuperElite, but my dad is retired from another airline and is gonna be nonrevving on Air Canada next week and needed me to list him for the flights.

Since general reservations has a 13 minute hold time, I called the SuperElite line and asked the agent if I could do that through her. I was very rudely told that the line was for "SuperElite business only" and that I should wait on hold for general reservations instead before being hung up on.

Just curious, but do folks think that the agent was right in refusing me service? Or was I out of line using the SuperElite line to save myself some time?
