As an alternative example, AA's brand new A319s rolling out right now have 30" pitch in Economy and 34" in Main Cabin Extra. With IFE. And seat power.

Why not just go with a MCE concept instead? I guess it's easier not to try - just not be any worse than your competitors. Such a shame.

It's just a race to the bottom again. But why care if the ultimate plan when the interior is complete across to fleet is to repaint all the exteriors in Vueling colours?
