All I can add to the debate (?) is that we are flying JER-LGW-MLA in CE in 14 days' time. Not looking forward to 3 hours in whatever seat they call it, in an A319.

Apart from the missing middle seat it's always a non-special experience, especially on the JER-LGW hop. Three hours squeezed in the extant seats is not a jolly prospect - at least the limo on arrival will have some legroom.
