Sorry for the confusion. Let me clarify unlimited in the context of this conversation.
Unlimited means no data cap or throttling when certain limits are exceeded. Truly in every interpretation, Unlimited.
In this case the NTT mentioned before cannot be considered for the same reasons I do not consider my Softbank service to be unlimited as I am limited by two conditions:
1. 1 gig in 3 days initiates a throttle. No way out until it expires.
2. 7 gig in 1 month initiates a throttle, which you can selectively pay your way out of.
I hit the (1.) condition quite a bit, it's annoying.
thanks,
RDP
Not sure if it's just me, if you ask me if I will take the bullet of (1) vs doing that stupidly slow 128K, I will take option 1 any day, which means you use roughly 10GB per month (OK in HK Standard).
For me I will just get a secondary SIM as you will go beyond (2) anyway, that you will need to pay, and use the WIFI hotspot once every now and then...
OR alternatively, check this if it fits your need better

yes, it's way more expensive, but you don't hit those roadblocks at all
